If you had a fresh-cut Christmas Tree, don't throw it to the curb. Instead, take it to one of the local drop-off points for recycling into garden mulch. Here's a list of drop-off locations for Mobile and Baldwin counties from WKRG. In Mobile you can drop off through January 10. Natural trees only (no flocked or artificial ones), with all lights and ornaments removed. Free mulch will be given out at the Greater Gulf States Fairgrounds on January 16.
